Luckie Waller Little League (LWLL) is an all-volunteer organization providing a Little League Baseball® program for more than 300+ players (ages 4-16) annually. Parents and others are needed to volunteer their time and talents to help ensure the success of the league by helping with the following activities:
coaching coordination, player safety, registration, finances, field maintenance, fundraising, business/legal management, equipment management, uniform orders, team pictures, scheduling (teams, umpires, etc.), communications, social media, information technology and data management.
Being a member of the board is a strictly volunteer position with no monetary compensation. We mention all this to give full disclosure to those who are interested in becoming a member of the LWLL Board of Directors, but don’t quite understand what the position entails and the dedication & obligation it requires. The rewards can be priceless… being able to help further this organization to become bigger and better every year and to allow for our children to make memories that will last a life time, but this is only possible with an active, caring, and dedicated group of volunteers.
A strong baseball background is not required. Board Members must attend monthly meetings and are expected to assist with league-wide functions such as player evaluations, equipment distribution, field maintenance and serve on committees when called upon.
Join in the rewarding work for the benefit of the kids by supporting, volunteering and adding positivity to our community. Help is always needed - if you are interested please submit you nomination by clicking the following link:
